MAX3 Martial Arts

This policy explains what MAX3 Martial Arts does with your mobile phone number and your consent when you agree to receive text messages from us. The messages themselves — what we send and how to stop them — are described in our text message program terms.

What we collect

• Your mobile number, given by you on one of our inquiry forms. We do not buy, rent, or accept phone numbers from anyone else.
• Your consent record — the exact wording you agreed to when you ticked the box, and the date and time you agreed to it.
• Message activity — what we sent you and whether it was delivered, and any reply you send us, including STOP, START and HELP.

How we use it

Only to send you the messages described in our program terms — schedule changes and class cancellations, reminders, billing and payment notices, documents that need a signature, and, if you have those switched on, event and promotional news. We use the consent record to prove we had your permission and to honour it when you withdraw it.

Receiving promotional texts is never a condition of enrolling, purchasing, or attending.

Who we share it with

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The messaging provider that delivers the texts acts solely on our instructions and may not use your number for any purpose of its own. Your number is never given to advertisers or data brokers, and is never sold or rented to anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep your number for as long as your family is with the school, and we keep the consent and opt-out records for as long as we are required to be able to show that we had your permission — including after you opt out, because the record of your opt-out is what stops us texting you again.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any message and we stop texting that number.
• Turn promotional texts off on their own under More ▸ Notifications in the family app, and keep schedule changes and billing notices.
• Ask any staff member to switch messages off for you, or to remove your number. Staff can only switch messages off — turning them on is something only you can do.
• Ask us what we hold for you and we will tell you.
